Composition: Each 5 gram sachet contains:

Levamisole HCl 1/5 g

Target Species: Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Poultry

Indications:

Baymisole^® 30% is used for control and treatment of nematode infections of the gastrointestinal and respiratory system. This drug is effective for mature and larvae of Dictyocaulus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp., Bunostomum spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Strongyloides spp., Protostrongylus spp., Chabertia spp., Capillaria and Ascardia parasites.

Mechanism of action:

Levamisole is an anti-parasite drug of the Imidazothiazole class that by stimulating the nervous system lead to muscular spasm and rapid paralysis as a result of detachment and removal of the parasite from the animal body. Levamisole after oral administration is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract quickly and metabolized in the liver.

Dosage & Administration:

Cattle, Sheep and Goats: 7/5 mg/kg body weight (each 5 g sachet for 200 kg of livestock body weight per 1 liter of drinking water).

Poultry: 25 mg/kg body weight (each 5 gram sachet for 60 kg of poultry weight per 1 liter of drinking water).

Withdrawal time:

Meat: 3 days after the last treatment

Milk: 3 days after the last treatment

Caution:

Do not eat, drink and smoke when using this product.

After using the drug, wash your hands.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Use only under the prescription of a veterinarian.
