Indications:
Baycosin® 25% is used for control and treatment of respiratory diseases bacterial caused by mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Ornithobacterium spp., Pasteurella multocida, CRD complex, and other bacteria sensitive to tilmicosin in poultry.
Mechanism of action:
Tilmicosin is an antibiotic from macrolides family that inhibits the synthesis of bacterial protein by binding to 50S ribosomal subunit.
Dosage & Administration:
The average daily dose is 15-20 mg/kg of B.W.
Practical dose: 0.3 ml of solution (75 mg tilmicosin) per 1 liter of drinking water or 60 ml of solution per 200 liters of drinking water, daily.
Withdrawal time:
Do not use in the pullets, 13 days before the start of egg-laying period.
Broilers: 13 days after the last treatment
Turkeys: 19 days after the last treatment
Caution:
Should be used within 30 days after opening the seal.
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Use only under the prescription of a veterinarian.
Storage:
Do not store above 25ºC, keep away from light and freezing.
