The bacteria that are most susceptible to fosfomycin such as: E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Pseudomonas spp., Enterococcus spp., Haemophilus spp., Klebsiella spp., Shigella spp., Enterobacter spp., Ornithobacterium spp., Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Listeria spp. and Corynebacterium spp.

Mechanism of action:

Fosfomycin is a bactericidal antibiotic that prevents the formation of bacterial cell walls by preventing the formation of N-acetyl-muramic acid, which results in bacterial death. Fructose increases the fosfomycin efficacy by 6 to 10 times and causes bacterial resistance impossible. Fructose as a natural source of energy, improves the digestion and absorption of food and increases weight gain. The factor that makes this product unique, is fructose binding by the dual bond of the radical epoxy phosphate group to fosfomycin, so that this particular part of the molecule remains hidden. In fact, this operation is called the “Baiting” mechanism, which results in the escape of fosfomycin calcium from the natural defense of bacteria. The vitamin E increases the resistance of the poultry to diseases.

Electrolytes in this product play an important role in compensating for water shortages and lack of electrolytes in poultry’s body caused by stress, fever and bacterial diarrhea and eliminates of the poultry’s stress.
