Toltrazuril | 25 | mg |
Target Species: Poultry (Broilers, Breeders), Geese and Turkeys
Indications:
Bayzoril® is a broad spectrum anticoccidial for treatment of coccidiosis in poultry. It is highly effective not only against all coccidia of chickens (E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mivati, E. necatrix, E. tenella) and turkeys (E. adenoides, E. meleagrimitis), but also against coccidiosis in geeses (E. anseris, E. truncata).
Mechanism of action:
Toltrazuril is effective on all intracellular developmental stages of coccidia and interferes with the division of the nucleus and with the activity of the mitochondria, which are responsible for the respiratory metabolism of the parasites and reduces the enzymes of the respiratory chain of the parasite. Thus, the coccidiocidal effect of toltrazuril is more than its coccidiostat effect.
