Composition: Each g contains:

Phenylbutazone   50 mg

Target species: Cattle, Horses and Dogs

Indications:

Bayzone^® 5% is used for treatment of inflammatory conditions associated with the musculoskeletal system like arthritis, tendonitis, rheumatism, inflammation due to concussion, trauma or several pathogenic infections, and also milk obstruction in dog, and udder inflammation in cattle.

Mechanism of action:

Phenylbutazone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent which reduces prostaglandin synthesis by the inhibition of cyclooxygenase, and then decreases permeability of vessels and diapedese so prevents inflammation and pain due to inflammatory mediator actions.

Route & Administration:

Clean the skin of the affected area, apply the cream with gentle massage against the direction of the hair, repeat 2-3 times daily till recovering.

Storage:

Do not store above 25°C, keep away from light and freezing.

15 and 42.5 mg tubes in a package
