Therapeutically classification: Non-steroidal anti- inflammatory and vitamin

Composition: Each g contains:

 Aspirin                                250 mg

 Vitamin C                             200 mg

Target Species: Poultry (Broilers, Breeders, Layers)

Indications:

Control of pyrexia, inflammation and anorexia during infectious, viral and bacterial diseases including chronic respiratory disease (CRD), Newcastle disease, colibacillosis, influenza, infectious bronchitis, Gumboro, infectious coryza and other respiratory tract infections

Incease the body resistance to environmental stresses (heat, cold, transport, etc.)

Reduce complications after vaccination

Increase fertility and breeding in breeders

Reduce the incidence of ascites

Mechanism of action:

Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound. It acts as an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase which prevents the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxanes. Aspirin is the prototypical analgesic used in the treatment of mild to moderate pain, antipyretic and anticoagulant.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and is used for tissue repair and collagen formation. It is involved in some oxidation-reduction reactions, metabolism of many substances (iron, folic acid, norepinephrine, histamine, phenylalanine, tyrosine and some drug enzyme systems), carnitine synthesis, maintaining blood vessel integrity and immune function and also helps to synthesize steroidal hormones, which results in body resistance. This vitamin is used for strengthening of mucous membrane, increasing rooster’s fertility, hatchability and egg shell quality.

Dosage & Administration:

500 gr per 500 liters of drinking water for 5 days

Withdrawal:

Meat: 2 days after the last treatment

Drug interactions: None

Contra-indications: Do not use eggs for human consumption during the treatment. 

Caution:

Medicated water should be used within 12 hours.

Avoid from direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Use only under the prescription of a veterinarian.

Storage:

Do not store above 25°C, keep away from light and moisture.
