Indications:

Prevention and treatment of complications arising from environmental stress such as heat and cold

Increase the body’s resistance to infectious agents

Increase the resistance to stress caused by transport and vaccination

Increase fertility and hatchability

Improve the quality of egg shells

Mechanism of action:

Ascorbic acid, is an essential vitamin, and is involved in biological oxidation-reduction reactions in cellular respiration. It’s essential for the formation and maintenance of intracellular ground substance and collagen. In the body, ascorbic acid is reversibly oxidized to dehydroascorbic acid and influences tyrosine metabolism, conversion of folic acid to folinic acid, carbohydrate metabolism, resistance to infections, and cellular respiration. Ascorbic acid deficiency causes scurvy, a condition marked by degenerative changes in the capillaries, bone, and connective tissues. Restoring adequate ascorbic acid intake completely reverses symptoms of ascorbic acid deficiency.

Dosage & Administration:

Broilers: 700 -1000 g per 1000 kg of feed

Breeders: 1400 g per 1000 kg of feed

Layers: 700 g per 1000 kg of feed

Suckling calves: 3300 g per 1000 kg of feed

Foals: 1400 g per 1000 kg of feed

Withdrawal time: None

Caution:

Vitamin C premix should be mix completely with feed.

Continue to be monitored by a veterinarian to relieve symptoms.
