Oral Solution
Therapeutic classification: Anticoccidial
Each ml of solution contains:
Sulfaquinoxaline (sodium) 25.6 mg
Diaveridine 6.4 mg
Target species: Poultry, Turkeys, Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Dogs and Cats
Indications:
Poultry and Turkeys: This drug is used to treatment of diseases such as coccidiosis due to Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix. and diarrhea that caused by them, control of death result in fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida, decrease the prevalence of fowl typhoid caused by Salmonella gallinarum in turkeys, prevention of embryonic death and decrease in hatchability due to coccidiosis in breeders.
Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Dogs and Cats: Control and treatment of coccidiosis
Mechanism of action:
Sulfaquinoxaline belongs to the group of sulfonamide, it can stop metabolism and interfere with the synthesis of proteins through interference in the production of folic acid. Diaveridine is one of the blocking drugs of dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR). Consumption of sulfaquinoxaline and diaveridine concurrently increases the antimicrobial and antiprotozoal effect of this drug.
Dosage & administration:
Poultry & Turkeys: 3 ml per 1 L of drinking water for 3 consecutive days and stop treatment for 2 days, then continue for 3 days.
Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Dogs and Cats: Prevention of coccidiosis: 5 ml per 10 kg B.W. should be administered in drinking water for 3 days.
Withdrawal time:
Do not use in the pullets, 28 days before the start of egg-laying period.
Meat: poultry and Turkeys: 5 days before slaughtering / Cattle, Sheep and Goats: 11 days before slaughtering
Contra-indications:
Do not use in livestock that produce milk for human consumption.
Cautions:
Should be used within 60 days after opening the seal.
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Use only under the prescription of a veterinarian.
Storage:
Do not store above 25°C, keep away from light and freezing.
