Calcium chloride dihydrate 54.5 mg
Glucose anhydrous 100 mg
Propylene glycol 300 mg

Indications:
Treatment and prevention of ketosis due to negative energy balance and milk fever due to hypocalcemia in fresh cows.
Improve reproductive status, better growth of the ovarian follicles and faster retention to estrous cycle
Improvement of milk production and reduce mastitis indirectly
This product is recommended for emaciated, overweight, hypocalcemia cattle and cattle that have dystocia, retained placenta and twine calving in their history.
This product helps to prevent the displacement abomasum.
Mechanism of action:
Just before or after parturition, dietary intake of calcium and energy are inadequate for requirements of cattle. For prevention of deficiencies, nutritional management with quick digestible sources is necessary. Propylene glycol can be used as a source of carbohydrate alternative and glucose precursor for energy production. Calcium chloride is digestible form of calcium that increases plasma calcium level up to 5 minutes after use and prevents hypocalcemia and milk fever. Glucose is an energy source that prevents negative energy balance.
Dosage & administration:
About 12 hours pre-partum and then 5 days post-partum, daily, part of dry feed (like beet pulp) can be soaked in l liter of solution, then mix the soaked food with other parts of the ration and feed it to animal. Administration in feed is preferred because this method avoids dangers of aspiration with drenching.
