Therapeutically classification: Anthelmintic

Composition: Each ml contains:

Levamisole hydrochloride	37.5	mg
Triclabendazole	50	mg

Target species: Sheep and Goats

Indication:

Broad-spectrum antiparasite for control and treatment of mature and immature forms of nematodes in sheep and goats (Haemonchus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp.), mature & immature form of pulmonary worms (different species of Dictyocaulos)

Mature & immature form of gastrointestinal trematodes (Fasciola spp.)

Mechanism of action:

After oral administration Levamisole is absorbed from intestine and spreads throughout the body. Levamisole immediately effects on the worm nervous system and causes paralysis of parasites and consequently separated them from respiratory and gastrointestinal mucosa.

Triclabandazole is as inhibitor of fumarate reductase. Blockage of enzyme step inhibits generation mitochondrial energy in the form of ATP. In the absence of usable energy the parasite dies.

Pharmacokinetic:

The drug is partly absorbed in the intestine, the peak plasma level occurs in 6-30 hours approximately 47% of an oral dose was recovered (as metabolites) in the urine over a 9 day period.

Dosage & Administration:

1 ml of suspension per 5 kg of body weight as an oral drench.

(Note: Treatment should be started at the beginning of the clinical signs.)

Withdrawal time:

Meat: 28 days after the last treatment / Milk: 7 days after the last treatment

Caution:

This product could be used by young and pregnant animals but use carefully when animals are in late stage of pregnancy or animals under stress or weakness condition.

Suspension must be consumed according to the correct weight and the exact dose recommendation, transient side effects (muscle tremor, salivation) may occur following over dosing.

Do not take it forcefully due to incidence of aspiration pneumonia.

Should be used within 30 days after opening the seal.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Shake well before use.

Wash hands after use.

Use under the prescription of veterinarian.

Do not store above 25 °C, keep away from light and freezing.
