Target species: Lactating cows

Indications:

For the treatment and control of mastitis in dairy cows during lactating period especially caused by resistant to penicillin.

Mechanism of action:

Tetracyclines generally act as bacteriostatic antibiotics and inhibit protein synthesis by binding to 30S ribosomal subunits of susceptible organisms, thereby preventing binding to those ribosomes of aminoacyl transfer-RNA. Neomycin is an antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group with bactericidal activity and it is protein synthesis inhibitor. Neomycin has excellent activity against gram-negative bacteria, and has partial activity against gram-positive bacteria. Bacitracin inhibits phosphorylation reactions with non-specific blocking the production of peptidoglycan production as a result of this drug is bactricidal for gram-positive bacteria. Prednisolone is a type of steroid medication. It has anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant effects.

Dosage & Administration:

Clean and disinfect the teat, then infuse one syringe into each quarter at the last lactating. Massage the medication up into the milk cistern. If necessary, be repeated within 12 hours (up to 3 times).
