Indications:

Tylosin (tartrate) is very effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin sensitive micro-organism.

Tylosin (tartrate) is very effective in the treatment of chronic respiratory disease complex (CRD-complex). It is also efficient in the treatment of infectious synovitis and sinusitis, as well as several other poultry diseases.

Mechanism of action:

Tylosin (tartrate) is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against mainly gram-positive bacteria like Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pesteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Treponema.

Dosage & Administration:

Broilers and Pullets for control: use 100 g per 200 liters of drinking water for the first 3 days followed by the second administration for 24 hours at 3 to 4 weeks of age. For treatment: use same dose as above for 3 to 5 days.

Turkeys for control: use 100 g per 200 liters of drinking water between 1 day old to 5 days old, then a second administration for 2 days at 4 weeks of age. For treatment: use same dose as above for 3 to 5 days.

Withdrawal time:

Broilers: 1 day after the last treatment

Pullets: 2 days after the last treatment

Turkeys: 5 days after the last treatment

Caution:

Do not administer to poultry that produce eggs for human consumption.

Direct contact with the skin should be kept to a minimum. Wash hands after use.

Use only under the prescription of veterinarian.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Storage:

Do not store above 25 ͦC keep away from light and moisture.
