Indications:
Baymidine® is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is effective against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria such as Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Pasteurella spp., Clostridium tetani, Clostridium perfringens, Bacillus anthracis, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Rickettsiae spp., Chlamydia spp., Nocardia spp., Coccidia, and Toxoplasma spp.
Mechanism of action:
Sulfadimidine is a broad spectrum sulfonamides. Bacteriostatic activity of sulfadimidine is based on competitive inhibition of PABA incorporation in the molecule of folic acid which participates in protein synthesis in the protoplast of causative organisms.
Dosage & Administration:
3-6 ml per 10 kg body weight at the first day of treatment, followed by 3 ml per 10 kg body weight on the following 2-5 days, subcutaneous and slow intravenous administration.
Withdrawal time:
Meat: 10 days after the last treatment.
Milk: 4 days after the last treatment.
Caution:
Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides is possible.
Do not use during treatment with vitamin K3, drugs contain calcium and antioxidants.
Do not use in liver or renal dysfunctions.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Use only under the prescription of a veterinarian.

14 days after first needle insertion
Storage:
Do not store above 25°C, keep away from light and freezing.
